Purple Wave recently refined the types of assets available on purplewave.com. We are proud of the increasing quality of the equipment and vehicles presented to you on the site. In our ongoing effort to improve the service we provide all Purple Wave customers, we are proud to announce that Purple Wave Sierra is now an independent company.

To view all of the Purple Wave Sierra auctions, simply go to www.purplewave.com/sierra. You can also go to www.purplewave.com and click on the “California and Nevada” button on the right side of the page. The new page compiles all of Purple Wave Sierra’s auctions into a single auction list. Our western U.S. customers can now view auctions from Purple Wave Sierra without the burden of sifting through other Purple Wave auctions.

While Purple Wave Sierra is now an independent entity, Vince and Megan LoPresti are still your primary contacts. The way auctions work on the website will not change. You will keep you existing bidder number and password. While some Purple Wave Sierra Auctions will be a part of the regular purplewave.com auction calendar, others will not.

Purple Wave Auction recently moved to new facilities in Hays, Kansas. The new office is located at 2604 General Hays Road, Suite B. According to Purple Wave CEO and Founder Aaron McKee, the Hays location continues to provide a key “front porch” for the company in the region.

“We are very proud of our previous successes in Hays and foresee continued growth in that market.” said McKee.

Currently, Purple Wave has locations throughout the Midwest with the corporate headquarters in Manhattan, Kansas. In Hays, the primary sales contact will be longtime Hays area resident, Roger Kisner. A graduate of Hays high school and former owner of Kisner Auction and Appraisal Services, Kisner joined Purple Wave in February 2007.

“Roger brings over twenty years of equipment auction experience to bear for our clients,” said McKee. “His experience will be essential as the Hays office will be the hub for Purple Wave’s western Kansas operations.”

Despite the slowing economy, since December 2008, Purple Wave’s sales volume increased over 40 percent in the agricultural, construction and heavy equipment asset categories. To continue that growth, Purple Wave recently unveiled a new equipment auction division within the company.

“Through Purple Wave, our customers in the Hays area will have access to a team with decades of professional experience with companies like Caterpillar, John Deere, and Martin Farm Power,” said Kisner, “I am very proud to be a part of the team and excited about Purple Wave’s presence in Hays.”
