Registration for your free Purple Wave customer account is quick and easy.
Your Purple Wave customer account provides access to special features on our website. If you’ve authorized your account to bid, you may bid on all items in all auctions in real time, without the hassle of installing additional software or requesting authorization to bid for each individual auction.
Use either of the registration links to get started.
- Complete the customer registration forms
The first registration form allows you to create an account by providing your name, email address, password, phone and postal code. It also asks that you specify if the account is for personal use, business use or both. Submitting this form creates your account and displays the bid authorization form. This second form is optional and allows you to provide your address and credit card information. This information is required to place bids on purplewave.com.

- You are required to read and agree to our website’s terms of website use and the terms and conditions of our auctions to become authorized to bid.
- Check your email
Once you have completed the registration form, an email will be sent to you with the subject “Purple Wave account registration confirmation”. Use the link in the email to confirm your account and obtain your customer number.
- Log in
Once you’ve confirmed your account, you may log in using your email address or your customer account number and password. If you’ve authorized your account to bid, you are ready to bid on any item, in any auction, in real time. See the bidding page to learn how to place bids on Purple Wave.
Access your customer portalTo access your customer portal, enter your email address or customer account number and password in the log in section on the right side of the website. The customer portal allows you to view your current bids, update your contact information, review invoices and see your settlements.
Lost account number or passwordIf you forget your customer account number, simply log in with your email address and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the forgot password link to begin the password reset process.
