I’ve been in the auction business for about 14 years in Mo., Kan. and Neb. I joined Purple Wave because I believe the Internet auction business has a strong relevance today and a bright future. The Internet auction business intrigues me. It allows bidders to look at the equipment online for weeks in advance, schedule a time to go inspect or contact the seller and bid anytime before bidding closes.

My early career in the construction and trucking industries provides a strong understanding of my customers’ business and allows me to provide them with the best possible service and experience. The relationships with the customer is what has kept me in the auction business. Helping my customers with equipment disposal and acquisition brings me great satisfaction.

I grew up in Overland Park, Kan., and attended Kansas State University. After graduation, I moved to Tulsa, Okla., for 13 years and then returned to Overland Park. My grandsons keep me busy and I really do enjoy spending time with them and making them laugh. I hope to be able to teach them to fish and play golf. I enjoy the game of golf, though I am no expert.
